Give your AI assistant the rules

One Markdown file that says exactly how a Shadowing Player lesson is made: how long a sentence should be, how to lay out a two-language video, how to group a long lesson, how a quiz branches, and which fields the lesson file has. Download it and give it to the AI assistant you already use, together with what you want to teach.

The recipe is written in English, because that is what AI assistants follow most reliably. You can ask your assistant for its answers in any language.

How to use it

  1. Give the file to your AI assistant

    Attach the Markdown file, or use “Copy the recipe for AI” and paste it into the conversation.

  2. Say what you want to teach

    The end of the recipe has a short message to copy: topic, languages, level, number of sentences, which ways of practising matter.

  3. Get a plan in ten parts

    Concept, script, sentence table, groups, quiz, branching, editing instructions, subtitle plan, lesson file plan, and a checklist to test with.

  4. Record, lock the edit, then time the sentences

    An AI that has not seen your finished video cannot know its timings. Final times are written after the edit is locked.

    Review the sentences, save the draft, preview, confirm your rights, publish.

Shadowing Player is not connected to any AI service. This is a document you hand over yourself; what an assistant produces is a draft for you to check.
